As part of CBH Grain’s dedication to bringing growers closer to international customers and end-users a study tour consisting of six growers and three CBH Grain employees will travel to the Middle East in late September.
The tour is aimed at giving participants a greater understanding of customers’ requirements and on the ground experience of the local trends and demands in some of the destination markets for WA grain.
The group, consisting of Brady Green, Yuna; Jeffery Pearse, Wubin; Jon Hasson, Ballidu; Rob Hooper, Ongerup; Mike Wake, Jerdacuttup; Rex Parsons, Jerramungup and CBH Grain Wheat Marketing Manager Sean Cowman and Barley Marketing Manager Rob Dickie and Geraldton Zone Manager Duncan Gray will visit the United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait.
Some of the highlights of the trip will be touring the Oman Flour Mills, Dubai National Flour Mills, Al Ghurair Foods and Abu Dhabi Food Control Authority.
